Christian Counseling in Tulsa
We offer Christian Counseling in Tulsa that involves using a biblical framework, in addition to modern psychological counseling theory and methods, to process Individual and Couples Issues. This is available for Christian clients who prefer using scripture and faith throughout their counseling process.
Who is this for?

Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
It is an honor to serve individuals and couples who are seeking counseling that utilizes a biblical framework and focuses on Jesus Christ. This counseling service is available to individuals and couples who are dedicated to their faith and are looking for a professional counseling service that aligns with their faith.
It can be very difficult to find a therapist, let alone a Christian therapist. This is one of the many reasons we formed our practice. Our goal is to provide a safe place for Christians who might not have access to professional counseling resources through their church or are having a difficult time finding a Christian therapist.
All of our therapists are Christians who have a desire to help others grow in their relationship with Christ and find healing from anger, anxiety, stress, depression, and couples concerns. Since we are not only therapists, but those who have an active relationship with Christ, we understand many of the issues individuals and couples struggle with through the lens of a Christian. This drives us to treat issues and concerns through a Christian framework.
Who isn’t this for?
Our Christian counseling services in Tulsa are offered to those who struggle with similar concerns to those listed below. While we address and discuss each client’s concerns with certain passages in scripture, the primary purpose of our counseling service is promoting mental health through the power of the Holy Spirit with the guidance of scripture and modern counseling methods. If an individual is seeking counseling that does not involve modern counseling methods, in addition to scripture, then pastoral counseling may be a better fit. We believe that for healing God has provided scripture, the inspired and inerrant word of God, in addition to general revelation about his creation, which can partly be found in modern counseling methods and theories. Any concerns over whether or not counseling will be a good fit can be discussed during a free 15 minute consultation. If it is decided that therapy might not be the best fit, we are happy to make referrals when necessary.
The needs of each person vary, but Christian counseling might involve prayer, reading scripture, and the use of modern psychological methods. Faith is integrated into a typical counseling framework. Some psychological therapies that might be used are cognitive behavioral, emotion focused, existential, and Rogerian.
Depending on the issue, some clients need to explore past relationships that contribute to current pain and concerns. This can be a lengthy process but can be critical in finding relief from certain issues. Others prefer to just learn various coping strategies. Regardless, whether exploring past relationships or discussing various coping strategies, Christian counseling integrates faith into each counseling avenue.
